Virginia Alfred, MD, received her Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Southern University. She earned her medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Alfred completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the LSU Medical Center in New Orleans.  

Dr. Alfred is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
