Palliative care nurse practitioner Tracy Vincent specializes in geriatric care management and improving the quality of life for people with serious, chronic or life-threatening illnesses. Vincent is specially trained in managing complex medical symptoms and providing comprehensive care that addresses the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of patients. She provides support for Alzheimer’s, dementia and depression testing and she helps patients and their families connect with local resources for additional assistance. Vincent earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she later completed a master’s degree in family nurse practitioner studies. She worked as a registered nurse in neurology, surgery and senior services before joining the Our Lady of Lourdes Physician Group palliative care team.
