Neonatal nurse practitioner Tarrah Rials is part of the skilled, experienced and knowledgeable provider team caring for the area’s smallest patients in the Our Lady of Lourdes Women’s & Children’s Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. As Acadiana’s only Level III Surgical NICU, the unit provides family centered care with access to local pediatric surgery and other subspecialists treating the unique healthcare needs of children born prematurely or with other health issues. After graduating magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in nursing from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Rials earned a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas.
