Syed Fazal-ur-Rehman, MD, a board-certified interventional cardiologist, has provided experienced, skilled and personal cardiovascular care to area families for nearly 30 years. He specializes in prevention, diagnosis, management treatment and interventional cardiology services like narrow or leaking heart valve repair via catheter (valvuloplasty), removing plaque built up inside arteries (atherectomy) and vascular disease in the legs or other non-coronary arteries (peripheral intervention). 

After earning a medical degree from Jinnah Sindh Medical University in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan, Dr. Fazal-ur-Rehman completed an internal medicine internship at nearby Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center and a second at New York University School of Medicine in Brooklyn before undergoing a cardiology fellowship at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. He is an American College of Cardiology Fellow and a Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions Fellow.
