Suguna Veeramachineni, MD, board-certified in internal medicine, specializes in diagnosis, treatment and management of hypertension, diabetes and other chronic illnesses. In addition, she specializes in prevention, health screenings and senior care. 

Dr. Veeramachineni earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, MBBS, degree, equivalent to a medical degree in the US, from Gandhi Medical College in Secunderabad, India, where she later completed a one-year internship. Dr. Veeramachineni underwent an internal medicine internship at LSU Health – University Hospital and Clinics in Lafayette. She worked in private practice in Lafayette and Newport News, Virginia, before joining FMOL Health | Our Lady of Lourdes Physician Group. Dr. Veeramachineni is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and a member of the American College of Physicians.
