About The Provider
Dr. Stephen Seymour, a Board-Certified and Fellowship-trained urogynecologist, specializes in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. He brings years of experience and a long-standing tradition of caring for stress and urge continence, uterine prolapse and other pelvic problems resulting from childbirth.
Dr. Seymour earned a medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri, before completing a Categorical OB-GYN internship and an OB-GYN residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Fort Lewis, Washington, where he later completed a three-year fellowship in urogynecology and pelvic reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Seymour served as Chief of Clinical Services and Senior Medical Officer during Operation: Iraqi Freedom at U.S. Army Health Clinic at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, and Senior Medical Officer at U.S. Army Base Camp Al Sayliya outside Doha, Qatar. He had private urogynecology practices in Florida and Pennsylvania and previously practiced at Women’s & Children’s Hospital from 2008 to 2013.
Dr. Seymour is Board-Certified in both obstetrics and gynecology and female pelvic medicine reconstructive surgery. He is a member of the American Urogynecologic Society.
