About The Provider
Dr. Saad Karim specializes in vascular neurology diagnosing and treating people with cerebrovascular problems. He has a special interest in stroke prevention, raising awareness of stroke risk factors and identifying the signs and symptoms of stroke onset. Dr. Karim earned a medical degree from Ziauddin Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan, before completing an internal medicine preliminary at Icahn School of Medicine Mount Sinai in Bronx, New York, a neurology residency at St. Louis University in St. Louis and a fellowship in vascular neurology at Washington University Barnes Jewish Hospital, also in St. Louis. He served at hospitals in Pakistan, Illinois, Texas, New York and St. Louis before joining Our Lady of Lourdes. Dr. Karim is fluent in English, Urdu, Punjabi and Siraiki. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, American Heart Association and American Stroke Association. In his spare time, he enjoys cricket, hiking, movies and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Karem seems so interested and allowed me time to ask any questions. Since I am a NP, he actually showed me my MRI. He explained everything so great and made me feel at ease.
