Dr. Haran earned a medical degree from Maulana Azad Medical College in Delhi, India, and completed both her residency and a fellowship at Maimonides Medical Center/Department of Medicine in Brooklyn, N.Y. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is also board certified in pulmonary diseases. Dr. Haran is board certified in both Infectious and Critical Care Medicine. She is a member of the American Medical Association, Society of Critical Care Medicine and American College of Chest Physicians.

Dr Haran is very accessible and listens to my concerns. One medicine I'm on is expensive and I told her I could no longer afford it. She changed my prescription immediately.

Dr. Haran is an excellent pulmonologist, kept me well informed about my diagnosis and the progress I have made. I felt at ease after the visit about my condition. I would highly recommend Dr Haran if anyone is looking for a pulmonologist.
