As a Lafayette-based pediatric general surgeon, Dr. Kenneth Falterman believes that the best care starts with building strong relationships with patients and understanding their unique needs. His areas of expertise include surgical treatment of the stomach, colon, gallbladder and other abdominal organs. His practice focuses on minimally invasive endoscopic surgery, neonatal surgery and pediatric surgical oncology. Dr. Falterman completed his General Surgery residency at Louisiana State University and affiliate hospitals and went on to complete his residency training in pediatric surgery at University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Falterman is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Surgeons. He is also a member of the American Pediatric Surgery Association and the Louisiana State Medical Society.
