Katherine Greene, Board Certified nurse midwife, provides an additional natural childbirth option for patients of the OB Hospitalist team at Our Lady of Lourdes Women’s & Children’s Hospital. In the hospital’s Women’s Services outpatient clinic, she provides prenatal and postpartum consultations, pregnancy tests, natural childbirth techniques guidance and other pregnancy-related services.

Katherine graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Emory University in Atlanta before completing a master’s degree in Nurse-Midwifery from the University of Colorado Denver at Aurora, Colo. She worked as an emergency room, intensive care and Labor & Delivery nurse at hospitals in Atlanta and Colorado before joining Lourdes Physician Group OB Hospitalist team. Katherine is certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board and is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives and the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses.
