Board-certified nurse practitioner Jill Hill is part of the growing team serving area families at Our Lady of Lourdes Physician Group Colon and Rectal Surgery. The practice specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of disease of the colon, rectum and anus with an emphasis on curing colorectal cancer, alleviating diverticulitis and improving the lifestyle of those with inflammatory bowel disease. Jill has more than 24 years of experience in direct patient care in emergency medicine, general surgery and surgical oncology in the in- and outpatient settings. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she later completed a master’s degree in nursing. Jill is certified by the American Nursing Credentialing Center as a family nurse practitioner and clinical nurse specialist in medical and surgical specialty. She is a member of the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.
