Dr. Kaufman did not want or care to hear my opinion. From the moment he saw my chart in the hallway he stated to other staff, "another breast cancer, man, ya'll keep lining them up back to back." He then walked in, read my chart aloud and when I asked a question he dismissed me and said, "I'm reading the report, I'll get to you." Then while he explained to me what he just read he suggested a lumpectomy and when I asked about a mastectomy, it was immediately made clear to me that he did not agree. This is MY BODY and MY CHOICE but he did not let me explain or even just try to state why I might be possibly interested in that procedure. In the end when the nurse asked me if I was okay I told her no and explained that I still had questions about a mastectomy and when she asked if I had spoken with Dr Kaufman about it I told her no because I couldn't because I felt that he would not listen, that I had already tried and he interrupted me and basically told me what surgery he was going to perform period.

Dr. Henry Kaufman was very professional, courteous, knowledgeable, & easy to talk with concerning my health issues. He took the time to explain and answer my questions. I really appreciated his respect.

Dr Kaufman was clear and spoke in laymen's terms that conveyed a full understanding of my diagnosis and surgery procedure.

He cares about everything that could make things better for me not just the surgery, which he is also amazing at that. I had no problems and I know if I would have I was in good hands.

Outstanding care and explanation of diagnosis of problems. Went thoroughly thru pre surgery to post surgery care, not only for myself, but for my family, this was very comforting.

I thought the doctor was very nice and knowledgeable, but he needs to talk to the patients like they "did not" go to medical school. Some of the terminology that he used I did not understand and therefore had a hard time answering some of his questions.

I felt very comfortable with the doctor and the way he explained everything to us.

Dr. Kaufman's demeanor and knowledge made me very comfortable. I trusted that I had come to the best doctor to get a resolution to my issues.

If I could give more than 5's I would. Dr Kaufman always makes me feel welcome, cared for and never rushed.
