Crystal Jeansonne, a board-certified nurse practitioner, works alongside Dr. Syed Fazal-ur-Rehman and Dr. Brent Rochon, board-certified interventional cardiologists, who specialize in narrow or leaking heart valve repair via catheter (valvuloplasty), removing plaque built up inside arteries (atherectomy) and vascular disease in the legs or other non-coronary arteries (peripheral intervention). 

Jeansonne earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She later completed a master’s degree in family nurse practitioner studies at McNeese State University in Lake Charles and moved to Lafayette, where she joined Dr. Rochon in private practice. Jeansonne is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
