Claudius Jean Baptiste, MD, board-certified in family medicine, specializes in hypertension, diabetes and other chronic illness, in addition to the diagnosis, management and treatment of memory loss, balance issues, thinning blood and other health complications that affect older adults. 

Dr. Jean Baptiste earned a medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Bridgetown, Barbados before completing a family medicine residency at LSU Health – University Hospital and Clinics in Lafayette, where he later underwent a geriatric medicine fellowship. He is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and a member of the American Geriatrics Society, American Academy of Family Physicians, Association of Americal Medical Colleges and Society for Simulation in Healthcare. A native of Haiti, Dr. Jean Baptiste is fluent in English, French and Haitian Creole.
