Brent Rochon, MD, a board-certified interventional cardiologist, has provided experienced, skilled and personal cardiovascular care to area families for more than 20 years. He specializes in prevention, diagnosis, management treatment and interventional cardiology services like narrow or leaking heart valve repair via catheter (valvuloplasty), removing plaque built up inside arteries (atherectomy) and vascular disease in the legs or other non-coronary arteries (peripheral intervention). 

After earning a medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, Dr. Rochon completed an internal medicine residency at LSU Health – University Hospital and Clinics in Lafayette and later a cardiology fellowship at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans and an interventional cardiology fellowship at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences at Little Rock, Arkansas. He worked in private practice in Franklin, Ville Platte, Marksville, Bossier City and Lafayette before joining FMOL Health | Our Lady of Lourdes Physician Group. Dr. Rochon is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of the National Medical Association and Emergency Medical Response Board.
