Dr. Champagne earned a medical degree from LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport before completing a general surgery residency at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans and later a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at Northside Hospital in Atlanta. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, American Medical Association and Louisiana State Medical Society.
