Ashley Cook is a nurse practitioner who specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and management of acute and chronic health conditions. She is a Carencro native who understands the unique healthcare challenges and needs of Acadiana residents.



Ashley earned a nursing degree from UL Lafayette before completing a master’s degree in nursing with a family nurse practitioner focus from the University of South Alabama in Mobile. She is certified by the State Board of Louisiana as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. In addition, Ashley is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is also a Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse. She is also certified in Basic Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

      Ashley Cook NP-C and the staff are always friendly and professional. They are always quick to respond anytime I reach out with questions or concerns. The appointments are always quick but thorough and all questions and concerns are addressed. Ashley Is doing a great job In getting my son the diagnosis and treatment that he needs.
