A native of Lafayette, Kay earned her master’s degree in nursing with a nurse practitioner focus from UL Lafayette. She previously served as Director of the Cardiac Cath Lab at both Our Lady of Lourdes Heart Hospital and Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. She is licensed as a Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing and is a member of the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
