André Knapp, a board-certified nurse practitioner, is part of the growing FMOL Health | Our Lady of Lourdes Physician Group Infectious Diseases team that focuses on diagnosis, treatment and management of Hepatitis C, human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and other bloodborne pathogens. Knapp graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in nursing from East Carolina University in Greensville, N.C., before completing a master’s degree in nurse practitioner studies focused on primary care medicine LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. She worked in primary care, emergency medicine and cardiovascular care at hospitals and in private practice at hospitals and clinics in Greenville, S.C. and throughout south Louisiana before joining Our Lady of Lourdes Physician Group. Knapp is credentialed through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
