Amy Zeringue, a board-certified neonatologist, is part of the skilled, experienced and knowledgeable provider team caring for the area’s smallest patients in the Our Lady of Lourdes Women’s & Children’s Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. As Acadiana’s only Level III Surgical NICU, the unit provides family centered care with access to local pediatric surgery and other subspecialists treating the unique healthcare needs of children born prematurely or with other health issues. Dr. Zeringue earned a medical degree from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, where she later completed a pediatric internship, residency and a neonatal-perinatal medicine fellowship. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in pediatrics and neonatal-perinatal medicine.
