About The Provider

As a nurse practitioner with Acadiana’s only pediatric endocrinology practice, Amy Vitte specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and management of endocrine disorders in children including diabetes, thyroid disorders, abnormal growth, disorders of puberty and pituitary hormone deficiencies. Amy earned a master’s in nursing from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Ala. before becoming board certified as a pediatric nurse practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
