Dr. Allahyar Jazayeri, Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist, earned a doctorate in human genetics and cell biology from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, where he later earned a medical degree. Dr. Jazayeri completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of South Florida Obstetrics and Gynecology Department in Tampa, Fla., where he also completed a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. He is Board certified in both Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Obstetrics & Gynecology. 

Dr. Jazayeri served as a reviewer for the American Journal and the International Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He completed a clinical research fellowship at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Lubbock, Texas before serving as Maternal-Fetal Medicine program director, Center of Perinatal Medicine and Obstetrical Research director and instructor at LSU Health Science Center Obstetrics and Gynecology department in Shreveport. 

Dr. Jazayeri was appointed Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Obstetrics and Ultrasound director for Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas, where he also served as a professor for the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department before earning an endowed professorship at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center University Medical Center. 

At the University of Tehran Medical School in Tehran, Iran, Dr. Jazayeri developed and reorganized practice patterns in high-risk Obstetrics and later served as Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship Program director. He is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Society for Gynecologic Investigation, American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine and Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics.
