Nurse practitioner Katie Doggett is part of the growing team at Our Lady of Lourdes Physician Group General Surgery. Katie earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing and later a second bachelor’s degree in biological sciences with a focus on microbiology, both from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond. She later completed a master’s degree in family nurse practitioner studies from Maryville University in St. Louis. Katie served in various nursing roles at Acadiana hospitals including Our Lady of Lourdes, where she worked in the Progressive Care Unit, Heart Hospital and Intensive Care Unit, before joining Our Lady of Lourdes Physician Group.
